October Summit Meeting

The Summit meeting will be held on October 28, 2009 at 7 pm in the Wm. Floyd High School Library. We will be hosting a Meet the Candidates night and have invited the candidates for our local Town Council and County Legislative positions. Please come and learn their points of view on issues as well as have the oppoortunity to ask questions of the candidates. Everyone is invited and we hope to have a large showing.

September Summit Meeting

The Summit meeting will take place on September 23, 2009 at 7 pm in the William Floyd High School Library. We will have 2 speakers, the first will be NYS Senator Brian Foley who will be making a special presentation to the Summit as well as discussing topics of interest to our community. The second speaker will be Steve Czarniecki, Curator of the William Floyd Estate. The Summit along with several other community groups has been working closely with the Estate to spread the word about the hidden gem in our community that is affectionately known as "Bill's House". The estate unfortunately is not well known, even within our own community, and that needs to change and make it a destination for schools, tourists and community residents.
